加热场对低空越赤道气流影响的数值试验研究

摘要:
本文用一个三层斜压原始方程模式研究了低空越赤道气流对赤道附近加热场的响应。结果表明,赤道附近的非均匀加热场对越赤道气流的位置和强度均有重要的影响。越赤道气流的位置与经向加热梯度最大值的位置一致。加热梯度的变化可以导致越赤道气流位置和强度出现相应的变化。加热场对越赤道气流的影响可能是通过非均匀加热影响辐散流场来实现的。数值试验结果与实例分析结果颇为一致。

NUMERICAL EXPERIMENTS OF THE EFFECTS OF THE HEATING FIELD ON THE LOW-LEVEL CROSS-EQUATORIAL FLOWS

Abstract:
By using a simple 3-layer primitive equation model, the responses of the low-level cross-equatorial flows to the heating field have been studied. The results show that the differential heating over the equatorial area has a great influence on both the position and the intensity of the cross-equatorial flows. The position of cross-equatorial flow coinsides with that of the heating gradient maximun. The changes of heating difference can lead to the variation of the cross-equatorial flows in their position and intensity. The effects of the heating field on the cross-equatorial flows may be realized by the variation of the divergent part of wind due to the effect of differential heating.The results of numerical experiments are quite similar to the observational aspects.
