大尺度浑沌现象的数值研究

摘要:
近来,关于大尺度大气运动的浑沌形态及其天气意义的研究已取得了初步的结果。本文在文献[1][2]的模式中进一步引入地形作用和β效应,多组数值积分的结果指出:大尺度的浑沌现象在模式大气中仍然存在,这种浑沌的出现与流型对称性的中断有关。

Abstract:
Recently, using an eighth-order set of determinate, forced, dissipative, and nonlinear autonomous equations, which governs the dynamics of a quasi-geostrophic flow of the baroclinic atmosphere, Luo Zhexian and Ma Jingxian have provided the preliminary results concerning the chaotic forms in large scale atmospheric motion in the absence of orography and with variation of Coriolis parameter with latitudes during the summer half of the year.In this paper, orographic and p terms are introduced into the model used in reference [1],and the corresponding autonomous system changes from an eighth-order set to a twelfth one. The modified system indicate the results of numerical integrations that the chaotic large scale atmospheric motion can keep occurring both in the summer half and the winter helf and that the appearance of chaotic forms is connected with the break of the symmetry of flow patterns.
